Fort Mill Look Around (FORT MILL, SC)

Join us for the inaugural Fort Mill Look Around in historic Fort Mill, SC, a pseudo-virtual race aimed at NOVICE Adventure Racers and put on by Fort Mill Adventure Runs.
Using a smartphone app for SELF-TIMING AND SCORING, runners will complete a self-supported course using a SELF-PRINTED COURSE MAP any time during the event window.
The course can be run at any time, as many times, as you like during the event window. Only the most recent time will count, however.
This course is about 6-7 miles, depending on the route taken. It goes to many historic Fort Mill locations, most with markers tell you something about them.
The course can also be run in any order, and the objective is to reach all the control points.
The low fee of $20 gets you access to the course map and the tracking software. Tutorials for loading, signing in to, and using the app are on the registration page. The app uses basic GPS navigation to track your location. When you reach a control point, indicated by the red dots on the map, it marks you off at that point and plays a little song for you! When all points are located, returning to the finish point will end the run and your results will be listed on the leader board.
Proceeds from the run will go to the Historic Paradise Foundation, whose mission is to Proactively Preserve People & Property of Paradise of Fort Mill.
